Time Flies

I've fallen behind on my posting! I hope I can catch you up on everything that has happened. You have been a hoot to be around lately. Everything is a new discovery and your body movements are becoming very quick. It is getting easier to almost drop you as you squirm like crazy and it's getting harder to leave you sitting places. We made the unfortunate mistake to sit you on the bed the other day while I was brushing my teeth. After hearing a crash, I looked and found you had fallen off the bed and into a trashcan. While it is somewhat funny now looking back, it was terrifying at the time. We learned a lesson quick that day. You now are never allowed on any high surface.

You say "dada" much more often than mama now, but that's okay. You also love squeezing your hand like a wave, though you don't really mean to wave at anybody. It's just exciting to you to manipulate your fingers. I also have noticed your love for balls, which makes me think you may take after your daddy more than I thought. You really love our little soccer ball we have. We'll see what happens with that in the future!

You've been sleeping so good for about a month now. Lately you haven't been waking up until 5:30 or 6. I still can't seem to sleep soundly though - I worry nonstop that you are too hot or too cold.

You have been doing really well with eating. You aren't really picky anymore and will eat almost anything I give you. You still don't seem to be a huge fan of green beans. This weekend we are going to try some new things. I'm thinking avacado. We'll see what you think!

You haven't started crawling yet, but I can tell you really want to. I think maybe one more month and you'll have it down. I better stop here, this post is getting long. Love you!
