Easter, moving and random updates

Hi E!

We had a great Easter this past weekend. We went and took photos with the Easter bunny and then went to an egg hunt at Des Peres park. Then we dyed easter eggs and went to Grandpa Ray's to hunt them. You had a lot of fun. Grandma and Grandpa Wright are coming up this weekend to see you as well.

We recently made an offer on a house in Grantwood Village and am 99% sure we will continue with the purchase. I am positive you will love it and we will be there for the next couple decades! We close in June so unless something happens, you will be living in a new house soon and will become a Lindbergh flyer at Long Elementary!

Last night you woke up crying hysterically. I asked what was wrong and you said a snake was getting you. I think you officially had your first nightmare! Those darn snakes! You went right back to sleep. It was nice to feel needed in the night again - wouldn't think I would ever say that, but sometimes I miss holding your little body and rocking you to sleep.

I've been looking at you lately longing for baby E. You are really growing up fast. So smart and active and still incredibly sweet. You can count to 14, sing the alphabet, and talk about feelings. You are starting to dress yourself better and get your shoes on yourself.

Potty training has been absolutely perfected now for about 2 months. You don't even tell us/ask us if you can go. You just go! It's awesome. They are staring to wean you of pull-ups at nap at school, so I plan on trying this weekend.

You recently finished up your first soccer camp. You really enjoyed running up and down the field and playing with daddy. You seem to have some of my terrible coordination, but there's hope for you with daddy being your coach :). I think personally you will be a swimmer. You love swimming. At swim lessons you just jump right in, go under and swim doggie style with assistance. Can't wait to get you back into the pool!

We've been using a real cup at meal times for a little while now and you are doing great. Your favorite song is wheels on the bus and you really like praying and saying songs that relate to Jesus. It's awesome! You seem to be doing really well at the Berry Patch. Sometimes I feel like they don't communicate with us as much as they could, but we have parent teacher conferences coming up soon, so we'll get to learn more!

I think I hear you waking up, so I will wrap up. You still stand at your door and say "Can I come out?" Ha. So cute. Love you, E!
