Return from Disney!

Well E, we sure had a blast at Disney World. It was a really magical experience. The first day we were determined to do everything, so we kept you up and going all the way until 9:57PM, three minutes before the fireworks. Though I was sad you missed it, we were pretty proud of how well you hung all day.

We started with Dumbo and you and daddy had so much fun. From there, mommy rode the Great Goofini with you and you were quite terrified. It was a Sunday, so the wait for rides was semi-long, but not bad. About 30 minutes on average. We rode the Pooh Bear ride and it's a small world. Then we went to "Enchanted Tales with Belle" where daddy got to be in the show and you got to meet Belle. It was probably your favorite ride.

We jumped in line later to see Mickey Mouse and later we had dinner at 1900 Park Fare, where you were able to see Cinderella, Prince Charming, Drizella, Anastacia and the Step mother! You had so much fun you were thrilled.

Later we headed back to the park and watched the electrical parade with lights. It was such a neat show and we were so glad you got to see it. You loved it - almost as much as the parade during the day!

The following day we went to Hollywood studios and began to pay the price for keeping you up all day. It was a bit of a shorter day. We started the day at the Disney Jr show where you got to see all your pals like Doc McStuffins, Mickey Mouse Club and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. From there, we went to the set of Honey I shrunk the Kids and then we went to lunch at Hollywood and Vine, where you got to dance with Jake and June from Little Einsteins. Later, we headed to the pool and went swimming with your new swim vest that allowed you to swim all by yourself. You thought you were pretty big stuff. You jumped off the wall and went under and came up all by yourself!

The next day we went back to the Magic Kingdom and saw Rapunzel, Aurora, Cinderella and Ariel. We also saw Goofy and Donald. We rode several of the rides again, because there was hardly a wait. Then we caught the monorail to the Contemporary resort where we ate dinner at Chef Mickeys. This was the highlight of the trip for me. The food was great and you were so excited to see all the guys. You were shouting at them to come see you. You met Pluto, Donald, Mickey and Minnie and Goofy! Unfortunately, we missed the fireworks again, so next time we will have to make sure we catch them!

The next day was our last day and we got up and went to the Animal Kingdom. This was probably your favorite part of the trip - you loved looking at all the animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. We saw elephants and giraffes and lions! You were pointing at everything. It was really neat to see your enthusiasm. I loved animals dearly when i was little, so I hope you can enjoy that with me as you grow.

Finally, we caught our "school bus" ride to the airport and caught our two airplane rides home. You did so good on the planes; I was very proud of you. It was a tiring trip, but one that I will always cherish. Though we probably won't go back for several more years, I sure look forward to taking you again.
