Bye Bye June!

Whoops! I let June slip by without posting! I can't imagine why...we only moved out of one house, into another house, had a leaky basement, a swarm of ants, stinky carpet at the new house, inability to move into our bedrooms because of carpet installations, trouble with previous landlord and daddy’s colonoscopy/continuous GI issues. No reason to feel stressed. On the bright side, we painted your room a lovely robin’s egg blue and bought some adorable Pottery Barn bedding. Once the ugly carpet is removed, I’ll post a picture. We transitioned you from a toddler bed to a full size bed and you love it. Every night mommy and daddy lay in bed with you and read books and sing songs and you just think it is awesome. You also want me to “tucker” you in and put pillows around you so you don’t fall out. You are the cutest booger I have ever seen. You have started saying the sweetest things like I love you mommy, I miss you mommy, I need you mommy, sweet dreams mommy, be careful mommy, etc. You are a pretty big mommas girl. I hope daddy gets to enjoy that at some point in your childhood; still waiting on that daddy’s girl syndrome.

The other day we found a turtle in our back yard, you were tickled. We also have lots of bunnies, squirrels and birds. It’s nice to have such a foresty back yard. Another thing you love is how big our bath tub is in the new house. It is ginormous – you can truly swim in it. You also like leaping from the stairs. I think you are going to like our new home. I sure hope so, because I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon. The fourth of July is coming up soon - this will be the first one you'll have ever stayed up late enough to see! Excited for you!
