Almost 4!

Wow, as someone who doesn't often stick to things, I am impressed that I am still writing your blog with your 4th birthday just around the corner. From 4 months to 4 years, I have chronicled some of my favorite memories with you. You are getting closer to an age where I can share these memories with you and I am really excited about that. We have had a crazy few months adjusting to a family of four, but things are really coming together. Mr. H loves looking at you and laughs at you more now. You are a very proud big sister. You are both doing very good at your school. This week you are learning about apples and were very excited that you got to make apple crisp at school! At home, your favorite person in the world to be with lately is daddy. You even told me the other day you were a daddy's girl. It took almost 4 years to get there, but I'd say you are definitely more of a daddy's girl now :) and that makes me very happy. I have a very special relationship with your grandpa and I am so happy to see you have one with your daddy, too. Your favorite thing to do together right now is to talk just like your daddy, with all the silly things he says. You "BONK" your head sometimes and shout that together, or you put your "Shaartz" on (shorts). You even said the lovely F bomb the other day that you heard daddy say in one of Mr. H's numerous cry-filled car rides. Hopefully daddy will now curb his foul language.

One of your favorite things to do right now is to take care of your babies. You have 7 now. You are a very busy mommy. First there was Baby, who later became Ella Baba and then finally Molly. She is still your favorite, but you have since gained Ella, Alvry, Alli, Angelina, Taloola and now Angela.

You also are very interested in letters and numbers and are starting to pick up sight words. You know how to spell STOP from reading the stop sign on our family walks.

For a funny tid bit, we were praying last night, and you prayed to Jesus and were covering the usual things and then out of nowhere said, "Please heal the scratches on mommy's tummy". I about died laughing. Those "scratches" are my nice permanent marks from your little brother. I hope they get "healed", too. Ha!

Love you girly,

Momma
