Daddy and I realized today that I am unfortunately no longer Mimi. It's been about a month since I have heard you call me Mimi. It was a fun nick name, and while I am sad to see it go, it's even cooler hearing you talk in complete sentences. Today you grabbed a book, handed it to daddy and said "I want daddy to read it." I was blown away- 6 words and just barely a year and a half.
You are really good at saying yellow and pink, but are still mastering your other colors. You do a great job with saying please and thank you - we are so proud of that. Lately you have really had fun with tooting and then talking about how you toot toot. You smile all the time and laugh about everything, especially when mommy plays games with you where we make silly faces. When you get really excited, you open your eyes really wide and stick your tongue way out and then smile.
We started swimming lessons up again a couple weeks ago and you are a little fish. You really enjoy playing in the water - not so crazy about having to follow rules, though. It's been a fun way to spend time with you. Afterwards, mommy and you take bike rides through our neighborhood and end at the park.
Loving this summer with you and how much you are learning and growing everyday. Just this past week you kissed me on the lips for the first time. It melted my heart. I love you so much baby girl.
