Last night you turned 6. I still cannot believe it. You are beautiful, smart, kind and silly. You have an energy that draws your little friends to you and you light up when you see them as well. It makes me happy to see you joyful. I finally understand why grandma always wished for all of us to be happy - there is nothing better than having a happy kid and you have been amazing for so long now. I watched your first birthday video tonight and just bawled. It is dumbfounding how fast you grew up, truly.
Your teacher is Mrs. Kaiser and she is very nice. Your favorite friends right now are Remy who broke his leg, Megan who goes to our church, Claire who moved in down the street and all the neighbor kids - Collin, Isla, Evvie, Mary, Isable, Harry, Adelaide, Robbie and Isaac. You and Hankie just love Isaac. You play all the time. Every day when Hankie and I drop you off at the bus he demands a kissy from you. It is very sweet - you guys are the best of pals unless you can't share. You are learning to write and read and are doing so well. You can honestly read most things. You want to be a veterinarian, librarian and artist when you grow up :).
