The most precious intangible

I think the craziest thing I have experienced since having a baby is being able to go on and on for days without more than a few hours of sleep (minus being able to shoot a child...never mind). In my glory days, I would get 10+ hours of sleep, yet constantly bitch that I was tired. I had no friggin clue. After experiencing a good month of indignant refusal to sleep, crazy spats with teething pain and multiple night feedings, we finally got E to sleep through the night on Monday, April 4th. After doing the pick up put down method for three solid hours (thanks to daddy), E gave mommy and daddy 6.5 glorious hours of sleep. Well, maybe I should say daddy had glorious sleep....I continuously have this fear, any time her sleep habits dramatically change, that something terrible has happened and that I am going to touch her skin and feel it ice cold....morbid, I know. It's so nice that I have a video monitor that allows me to stare obsessively at her little body and study it for movement.  So from about 12:30-5 last night I did just that, I enthusiastically watched as she slept then flailed and moved around but didn't cry out. Just the promise that sleep may be near after last night is enough to energize me for the week. Thank you, E. It was the best gift you could have given me...and my boss.

Recommendation:
Below is a link to amazon for the video monitor we use. We have been really pleased with this purchase. Had it for about 5 months now with no issues.
